I am a cruelty-free skincare blogger and (newly minted!) brand owner and formulator myself. Believe me when I say that this is hands-down the best oil cleanser on the planet for congested skin (and easily one of the best cleansers period). If your pores tend to clog, if you have stubborn blackheads or sebaceous filaments that you just can't seem to clear up, you need this cleanser. If you have clogged pores and sensitive skin and the usual pore-clearing treatments are too irritating for you, you *really* need this cleanser.

This oil cleanser is an experience - the packaging is pretty amazing, the aroma of the natural fruity oils is intoxicating, and the feel of this on the skin is incredible. As someone with pretty dry skin, i found this to be a super gentle way to get the crud out of the pores (especially on the nose!) It is pretty expensive - however I found that it lasted me around 3 months (granted I didn't use it nightly as I only wear sunscreen - also dont like to play with sa too often as it can dry me out in the long run). This is a great gift idea and a good intro to the line if you aren't ready to jump into the real powerhouses :)

I absolutely love, LOVE this face oil! It does give my skin an instant healthy glow and the smell is so delicate, yet beautiful and comforting. I want to try all of Joy’s face oil, as they all have an impressive deck of ingredienats, but i can already tell that Black Rose will forever be in my top three and such a joy to use everyday.
