What are the key ingredients in your products:
Some key natural ingredients in our products includes:
Shea butter: This comes from the African shea nut tree, which grows exclusively in the motherland. Containing large quantities of vitamins A and E, shea butter moisturizes the skin, promotes cell renewal, and increases circulation. The fatty acids found in shea butter help retain skin moisture and elasticity. It also helps to protect against harmful UV rays with its cinnamic acid. It is used for many conditions including cellulite, dandruff, eczema, scars and stretch marks.
Cocoa Butter: This is a superb emollient that softens and protects chapped skin, relieves irritation and diminishes signs of wrinkling and stretch marks. Its is a natural body butter that lubricates, soothes and protects stressed skin, containing a full spectrum of vitamins and minerals that nourish and soften skin to foster repair.
Coconut Oil: The flesh of the coconut is rich in emollient fat, and when pressed yields a white, sweetly scented, super moisturizing oil, which is a solid at room temperature but easily melts on the skin. Coconut oil is useful as an after sun oil, and it is revitalizing to dry, damaged hair. Surfactants derived from coconut oil have good cleansing properties and are known for their mildness.
Aloe Vera Juice: Aloe vera juice is packed with protein, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and many other ingredients, which help treat dry skin and scalp, control hair loss, and promote overall healthy hair and skin.
Lavender Oil: This assists in healing and stimulates circulation of blood in the skin, which can restore hair follicles and promote hair growth. In addition, it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties which help treat skin blemishes, acne, dermatitis, and oily skin.
Jojoba Oil: Smoothes and conditions hair and is great for adding moisture to dehydrated scalp. Jojoba deeply penetrates the skin of the scalp and helps other ingredients absorb more easily. Its effectiveness as a carrier oil is also increased since it helps unclog hair follicles and can prevent sebum build up which can lead to hair loss.
Glycerin: Glycerin is a natural humectant and emollient. A clear, sweet, syrupy liquid derived from vegetable oil. Non-irritating and soothing, can be used on even the most sensitive skin.
Vitamin E: This oil is a naturally occurring oil which is soluble in lipid and is non-enzymatic. It acts as an antioxidant and prevents the formation of free radicals on the skin cells. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. Due to presence of such essential qualities, it is good for the skin.
Olive Oil: This is obtained from pressing ripe olives of Olea Europaea. Olive oil is greenish-yellow in color and has a strong, somewhat spicy odor. A carrier oil best used with the stronger smelling essential oils such as rosemary or tea tree to mask its inherent odor. It has been used by Mediterranean people for centuries both as a food and as a treatment for damaged, dry hair. Soothes, heals and lubricates the skin. Used in many face creams as an emollient with superior penetrating power.
Tea Tree Oil: This has been used for centuries for a wide range of medical conditions. It is antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal.
